Took up tobacco again earlier today. 4 hours ago I went out for a few drinks. Ended up having too many and smoking too much. Now I feel like ■■■■ and am 20 bucks down. Never again. @everhopeful
I’m so sorry to hear that…tomorrow is another day. good luck on not smoking !! I almost caved today.
Honestly feel really nauseous now. Totalled up the cost of tobacco a year and it came to £1200!! Don’t have that type of money. Plus my clothes stink.
I’ve made the same mistake too many times to count, @Jimbob. Quitting is hard and falling back into it is all too easy. Hope you feel better soon.
I’m familiar with the saying, “Never quit quitting.”
Many have relapses on the path to getting free of an addiction.

Don’t beat yourself up over it; just get back on the horse. Also, it was a good reality check.
How long has it been for you @jukebox ? I haven’t heard an update on your own work quitting.
Maybe you should up the nicotine content in your vape?
115 days…I can’t believe it…my ticker on my account at a non smoking site says I have avoided 4,200 cigarettes!
Yeah prob need to. I only got 6mg as I thought I was going sub ohm.
When I was vaping above ohm , 6mg wouldn’t even touch the sides. 12mg I started to get a hit. I’d seriously consider upping the nicotine. If you were getting enough nicotine, you wouldn’t even have enjoyed the tobacco.
I’m having trouble quitting. I quit and end up smoking two weeks later. I’ve lasted a few months. I think I’ll try again.
Alcohol is terrible about making you want to smoke. It’s best to lay off it when you’re trying to quit smoking.
That’s good advice crimby.
I have some addiction issues, but I agree with Jayster. never quit quitting…a set back can happen, but you can pick up where you left off…and continue with your fight to rid yourself from whatever is addicting you…I stopped smoking for 15 years but in 2015 in the summer I tried smoking again and then it took me almost a year until I had made the decision to quit it again…now I am nine months into having quit smoking again and its been good. I occasionally think a cigarette break may be enjoyable but I have not problems to resist it because I am no wanting to fall back into it. It helped me that I want to be there alive and healthy for my son for as long as possible and also be a good example for him. Motivation is key in trying to quit…its not easy, it took me a year to make up my mind…but I knew eventually I want to quit again and fight the addiction once more.
