Both the product and the experience suck.
And then there is the cost…
They’re looking at China now… I hope they are unsuccessful at duping the public there
I used to like going to Starbucks.
But the only one in my hometown closed.
So, I go to different coffee shops. But try to limit for the sake of my budget.
I was going to say we don’t have any good coffee shops in my town then I remembered there’s one I’ve been to. I can think of three including Starbucks that really aren’t that great.
They keep surprising us employees with bogos so were always under staffed for them
You know, the next big thing is going to be flavored water. Where they give you like a squirt of lemon in your cup of water and charge you 10 dollars.
We’re 100% in sync on this.
There are six year olds in town doing this already. They learn so fast these days.
Lol dude I’m sure some restaurants do charge for lemon water
mom and pop/local coffee shops >>>>>>>>>>>>> Starbucks
Starbucks is a rip off so is dunkin donuts but theyre a bit better
Of all my buying coffee experiences Starbucks was in my dead bottom for everything including taste. Unfortunately when I lived in the states they had a branch in my bookstore so I drank a lot of it and always thought their beans gave a taste of burnt coffee. Like even mcdonalds out here has better tasting coffee and that is whack.
I think they went belly up over here a few years ago!
Dunkin coffee beats Starbucks no question
Yeah their coffee doesn’t taste that good at all
I am currently enjoying a nice iced latte made with non-fat milk and espresso from Lavazza Crema e Aroma beans. Food cost on it is about $0.54 CDN including two shots of sugar free vanilla syrup. Why would I pay $7.00 for one that doesn’t taste half as good (Starbucks cremates their beans) and requires me to go to a crowded store and expose myself to COVID?
Bleh.
Starbucks in trouble. Oh no where will I get my s***** coffee?
Never really cared for Starbucks and I can’t get to the one in town. I go to Dunkin sometimes because I can walk there.
I was saying it hopefully…
I don’t think Starbucks is in trouble.
A variety of factors have contributed to the quarterly loss: increases in the price of coffee beans due to a hurricane, unionization, loss of foot traffic, underperformance in China, among others.
Starbucks was due for a correction. They expanded too fast (there are more Starbucks in the US than McDonalds), and that made their business model unsustainable.
