Star Wars thread for those that have seen

Rogue one was fantastic. It had the greatest crop and paste job of red leader gold leader and leia. The dialogue wasn’t as poetic as the originals but it was still great. And we finally saw Darth Vaders full power without the constraints of technology like the original

I wasn’t going to see it, but I might watch it on DVD now when it comes out. I’m a huge star wars fan, but wasn’t sure if this would be a disappointment.

It was actually pretty good! Nothing will ever be as good as the originals but there were some really good action scenes.

Its beyond incredible actually. The only thing i was dissapointed in was how the dialogue wasn’t as poetic. Like the original star wars was basically a bunch of great one liners. “Its as suddenly a million voices cried out then vanished”. Its genius writing which this one had less of but still had. Its still a great movie though u should actually see it

Went to see it last night. Yea its good worth paying a few bucks to see it.

Just saw it, Rabbit. I loved it. Spent the last 20 minutes of it shaking and crying. Just fantastic.

Nothing compares to the originals with Princess Leia and Hans Solo and the original Darth Vader, but I thought Rogue One did an excellent job bridging the gap between today and 1978 . I saw the original Star Wars in elementary school and I’m 50 years old now.

When i saw red leader and gold leader i cried a little myself. How they did them was the director actually found old unused footage of red and gold leader and princess leia. So far in my opinion its the best crop and paste job in history.

It was really amazing, wasn’t it? I had heard about Grand Moff Tarkin, and if I hadn’t known ahead of time, I honestly would never have guessed.

Also things like Red 5 crashing - serious chills.
