The sarlacc retcon was handled extremely well IMO. That’s some quality writing. The acting is above average for the franchise, and the production values are top notch. Pleasantly surprised.
Who knew that the key to saving Star Wars was pushing out Lucas???
I don’t generally watch TV. Is it on Disney+? I might take a peek if so.
Edit: Never mind, I looked it up, it is. I am kind of out of the loop when it comes to tv and movies anymore.

I just got done watching the first 2 episodes. They were pretty good.
Right? I’m used to Lucas quality writing (which is the very opposite). This is sooooo much better.

Yasssssssssssss. He was the one worthwhile character from the three nasty prequel films.
We’re currently on episode three of Lovecraft Country. Holy snap is this ever good. The acting is top shelf and lots of twists and turns to satisfy.

I am not reading the thread, but I do want to watch this a lot.
Still not started the Mandalorian yet, which was the whole reason I signed up to Disney+
I still don’t understand why they can’t concentrate on making more mandelorian and why we need boba fett who was a background character in the original Star Wars for 4.3 seconds. 
Star Wars made many toys and games, and there were always more Jedi than Sith, so alliance was inherently overpowered. To counter the imbalance, boba fett’s statistics were always pumped up to overpowered, making him very popular amongst gamers. I think they’re just riding that popularity.
The Manadalorian was directly inspired by Boba Fett’s popularity. Dude was a bad ass. The Mandalorian rocks, but bringing back the character he’s based on is totally boss.
