I was taking escitalopram for 5 years while I was on risperidone and it did cause some minor 30 minute paranoi-anxiety attacks but I was not ready was to come. One day after work I just suddenly felt something physically going on in my head and I even wrote a whole article how my father raped me even though it wasn’t true. SSRI always helped me to stay away from suicidal thoughts, but never thought it would lead to 10 weeks hospitalization. Considering I was fully on risperidone at the time, so they had to put me on 2 anti-psychotics and change my meds to help me. Anyone else suffered from antidepressants caused psychosis?
Yes I have. When I got put on Prozac I experienced rage and psychosis. It made me even more depressed.
Anti-depressants are more dangerous than Ap’s. There is no natural substitute for Ap’s, but there is for anti-depressants. You could try taking vitamin D(most important), and a lot of herbs like for example Damiana, bacopa and muira puama are supposed to help with mood.

Welbutrin is a no-go from me, dawg.
It made the voices super intense, along with huge amounts of anxiety after a day.
Wellbutrin made me paranoid and angry at the same time. Stopped it on my own the next day of taking it. I let know the pharmacy and Dr. They said its ok.
