Spoiled Middle Class Bum

For Christmas I received…

Guess cologne

New winter boots

Gift cards $200.00 for restaurants and Costco

A car scraper

Slippers

Gloves

A thousand dollar cheque from my father

The best part? We had 18 family members over at our place for dinner last night. Great food, great company…and lots of piano playing and singing!

It’s funny though. I never, ever ask for anything. It always just falls in my lap. I’m blessed.

That’s awesome man. What will you spend the 1000 bucks on?

Gonna pay off some bills, and I’ll just let my wife spoil herself and the kids with the leftover cash.

My Dad is very generous. I’m very lucky.

Wow you’re lucky @Patrick!

What a nice Christmas you had!

Mr Turtle and I had a relaxing day together, we played chess in the afternoon after visiting his family.

Oh WOW! What a fabulous Christmas
That is just so awesome! You certainly ended the old year well and starting the new year well. Long may the good fortune continue. Enjoy your presents.

I just spent the day like every other day, LOL. It made no difference it happened to be Christmas, so I enjoy enjoying other people’s tales of their fabulous Christmases instead. It works for me, and I get all happy and excited for them. <3

Nice, d000d. What’s your father’s policy on adopting more kids?!? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I got socks, underwear, a belt, a couple of books, and a box of chocolate. Oh, and I cheated and put some presents under the tree for myself, which were a Keurig K50 and an egg boiler/poacher thingy.

I’m told I should feel guilty about being comfortable these days, but the fact is that I fought my way to this point from being homeless. I earned it and I’m enjoying it.

Glad your family had a great Christmas!

My parents gave me a cheque of a similar value this year.

I didn’t want to take it but they insisted as they realised an old investment.

They are even ok with me spending some of it on more tattoos!

Nice to read from you and about your Christmas.

Happy continuations of the New year yo.
