I finally have a support plan which my supported living manager wrote. We decided that I will have £70 a week for my food shopping and eating out (I only go to weatherspoons pub in town and its £1 for a refillable coffee from their machine and meals are cheap too)
I will do my food shopping with staff on Thursday morning, spending about £40.
I will keep my banks cards in the office and staff shouldn’t give them me if I ask. On a Thursday afternoon this will be the time I have some beers, the only day in the week I’m allowed to drink.
If I’m within my £70 for the week I could buy myself a takeaway.
This will stop people asking me to lend them money. My housemates wanted to borrow £110 yesterday and I had to tell him I don’t have access to my bank cards as they are in the office. I felt bad but it also felt good at the same time.
Also their isent any temptation to buy alcohol late at night and get it delivered to my house. I deleted my saved card from uber eats, basically I had to order a new card as you can’t delete your cards from uber and if you cancel the account you can easily set it up again and it still remembers your bank account details so I had to cancel my card. Just have to remember not to have auto save on my MacBook if ordering takeaways. I’m not ordering from Uber-eats again, they suck.
