It’s very good. It’s quite polished.
The music is eerily like the “the durutti column”.
The lyrics are pretty hypnotic a bit like “the cure”.

Sounds good man! I don’t really love the drums tho, it doesn’t follow a structured pattern. Maybe you can look up which part of the drums should go on each beat…

it is my weakest point. i just used my preset drum beat and didn’t toy with it It is really hard to change them when i recorded them rather than set a DAW drum beat that you can isolate and change.
Maybe next time.

I love the tune, i had a headache starting and it sort of soothed it a bit,
if i were to change anything i would try improving vocals a bit, its a weak point of mine as well, but if you are happy with it then that’s the main thing.

Reminds me a bit of Spiritualised but with less layers.
My main advice with the production would be to keep the kick and snare centred (in terms of pan).
What kind of synths do you use for the choir?

I have a choir type reverb on the valeton guitar effects and i also used ‘Lab’ plugin with this one.
I knock these up in a day, but they need a lot more work really.
I could rework the drums and the vocals much more than i have.

Nice man. Inspired me to grab my guitar off the wall. I made 2 little grunge riffs. I just use the drum track on my amp.

I made another song from scratch today.
I get really annoyed doing the drum bit so used a sample, but the rest is all me imcluding my spoken word and guitar playing!

you just load a drumbeat, jam for awhile with the guitar until I find something i like.
Record it, cut and splice it in the daw.
Then i add layers. In this one there are 3 guitar channels so 3 guitar solos, a midi keyboard and old poetry I wrote awhile ago. I add my poetry last.
It isn’t as hard as you might think.

I made another track today.
This is more punky/rock/grunge inspired with me singing on it.
I played all the instruments, except the drums and wrote the song from scratch this afternoon.
