Earlier I was listening to my favorite A Perfect Circle song, one of my favorite songs by any band really, “Passive.” Those lyrics from that song always make me think of how much psychosis cost me.
As a child I was IQ tested and labeled gifted, boundless potential, something that continued into early adulthood. Well, I’ve had psychosis and mood symptoms since the age of 15, but things really went out of control starting around 22/23 years old, as a medical student. So much potential gone.
Psychosis cut me down multiple times, really.
Yeah, I work full-time as a manager making pretty good money, but I was supposed to do so much more, such bigger things with my life. I’m nearly 43 years old now.
Anyway, are there any song lyrics that make you think of psychosis or things related to your psychosis?
