you’re hard on yourself for no reason. everyone likes you because of who you are, but even if they didn’t, you shouldn’t change yourself for other people. so be secure. you’re good enough as you are

Same here. But I am getting better at asserting myself. People would use me in the past bc of my kindness. I am not generally a mean person but I must admit I am turning into a mouthy ■■■■■■■ at 38 years old.

I’ve been used for my kindness. i have a kind heart. i’m kind of a selfless person. always been. i wonder how much people see that though.
