I don’t know what’s going on with me but my movements are much slower now.
I walk slow too and my movements in general like eating are slower.
I’ll get tremors in both hands frequently and my facial expressions have been mask like.
I’m pretty sure that it could be drug induced Parkinsonism but I really don’t know.
I may talk to my psychiatrist about it so she can refer me to a neurologist.

I’d talk to the doctor before I get too worried.
Some days I just feel weird or off.
Like I’m walking through water or something.
It may be normal for someone like us or a side effect of meds.
You’ve also been stressed lately, so that may be a factor.

Do others on here suffer with drug induced Parkinsonism?
What are your symptoms?
@Mars ?

Thats one of the questions my psychiatrist asks me every time I visit. If I’m moving slowly. I don’t know why,

Yeah I do, but I also have essential tremors. I have full body tremors and resting tremors. My legs shake like crazy walking down stairs. I’m not sure how much of it is Parkinsonism vs essential tremors because I have both. I walk pretty weird too and stumble around sometimes. I’ve been told my facial expression is mask like too but that’s also a negative symptom of SZ so I don’t know. I take Cogentin and it helps a lot with both. It also helps with akathisia. Highly recommend.

People with sz and sza often move slower than neurotypicals. Just how the disease it. Tremors could be td.

Ok thanks @Mars and @Bowens
I’m pretty sure it’s the meds
The tremors are not that big of an issue for me but the slow movements is concerning
I’m definitely going to bring this up with my doctor

I saw a doctor 10 years ago who said I have really slow reflexes when he hit my leg with a mallet. Never caused me any issues but I probably couldn’t play sports.

It’s TD says my pdoc.
Hope you find relief.

A fun fact about tremors is that people with them live longer, because it’s like your body is constantly exercising. So it’s not all bad.
