I don’t understand what I am saying wrong.
This has happened a few times in the last couple of weeks
Having a simple conversation, then the person just disappears from my app
Not really giving me much confidence
Haven’t even got to telling anyone about MH issues

Maybe they just deleted the app dude. I wouldn’t let it get you down. Could be a million things.

I dont even bother with dating apps anymore lol. Cos i know damn well im setting myself up for dissappointment.
Helpful to many i know - so i wont slag them off, i just think you need a bit of a thick skin when you use them.

I read somewhere that a lot of people using dating apps these days are just doing it for the “swipes”— kinda like an ego boost, if you will.
They’re basically on a dating app just looking for likes with no intention of actually being in a committed relationship.
Don’t let it get you down .

I had a dating app for years before anything longterm happened. Just treat it like entertainment til something hits
But if you want to meet someone sooner try not to talk much on the app.
Use at as a quick hello and setup a coffee date or something

I find that you need to be happy to be able to date. People can sense sadness in me then run away. I had matches on Bumble, talked to a few including one from my ethnicity. I don’t feel ready so I didn’t pursue dating. I need to be happy and proud of myself before dating but thats just me. Do what you want.

I have been rejected several times too recently.
I think it is normal
People are very picky nowadays.
Me included.

I think these apps takes the ‘romance’ out of dating and meeting people. They treat it like shopping.
I think this seems to be true from what I have seen

plenty of fish
I am going to check to see if this is still free.
Not paying, as I paid for Match.com for 6 months before and nothing happened from that

It is a bit like a dating catalogue. And there is an element of it being like an interview when meeting ppl. From both sides.
But romance does sometimes develop.

Yeeeow. Good point indeed.
A lot of instant gratification going on these days as well.

Just give it some time. Like a lot of time.
I’ve had success with online dating before but that was when I was young, and better looking.
I might try out No Longer Lonely (for the third time).

Dating apps are great for meeting friends.thats kinda the way I’ve seen it in the past when I used them. Its just a cool way to meet new people and if it results in a relationship then great!

I’ve given up on dating apps. 99% of the women want a tall man, I can’t provide that for them.
