That’s great ! I’m glad your mother is doing well and making the best of it. Sounds like that flight was quite rough. Almost glad I didn’t make my flight today too much anxiety and paranoia.

That’s great news that your mom doesn’t need surgery and will get to go home soon. You and your mom’s fiancee can pamper your mom when she gets home. I bet she’s really happy that you’re visiting right now and can spend time with her.
Since its kinda rainy in much of California right now, it might be nice and cozy to stay inside and hang out with your mom and her fiancee. Maybe you can watch some movies together or play some board games or card games.

Oh man I finally talked to her and it’s so much worse than I thought. The car was on top of her, she fractured the tailbone and some other bones. She lost feeling in her legs for the rest of the day. She said the feeling came back in her legs the next day so she isn’t paralyzed.
She’s in too much pain to walk, and she’s going to need serious physical therapy. She said she’s going to try to walk tomorrow. Her fiancee made it sound a lot less serious than it was, probably didn’t want to worry me. I’m kinda mad at the guy who hit her now to be honest. She could be dead or paralyzed. She’s gonna get a lawyer.
