This is a delusion - people elect politicians (as imperfect as that system is) and they work for us (and the people who give them the money).
There is no “who/whatever is really in charge”. We all have a little bit of say in who runs the country.
If you start believing conspiracy theories - you’re off in delusion land. Not helpful for functioning well.
I personally find reality testing of doubting everything I experience until I find supporting evidence for its existence and asking people who I don’t think will take advantage of me about things seems to work well for me.
This is probably why believing in a religion isn’t possible for me because I’m going to fall prey to delusions all over again if I give in to that way of thinking as sad as it is to say that.
Also if people were aware how much our brains BS things like what our eyes see because they’re very imprecise even when you’re not mentally ill, they would probably get paranoid of everything being fake.
I can imagine those dirty old politicians having fun with my private messages.
This is starting to sound like a discussion Captain Kirk and his male crew mates have when discussing women they find attractive.
Interesting thought: I’ve seen some ads catered to my interests from other sites. Like how I watch a lot of certain youtube videos and then when I go to facebook I see ads directing me to those kinds of things, like video game designer.
Yeah, but still, there are corporations and secret societies… Not so secret anymore but still.
Here in my country is common knowledge that the masons controls politics. Doesn’t really matter who’s there, as long as corporative issues are resolved. Comes out in the papers and everything, it’s common knowledge…
They even have a branch for internet security, with hackers and all
Of course there’s always going to be need to know plans the military has and such because they can’t just make new weapons and experiments public knowledge because loose lips sink ships. Though that’s not to say things like Watergate didn’t happen but they did get exposed quickly.
Can u not
Bluey.
Wearing … Actually nevermind
I don’t believe in an intelligent force running the universe because the universe makes little to no logical sense.
That’s actually our brains that are hardwired to find patterns in everything even when no pattern exists. I forget what it’s called. Our brains are honestly not meant to deal with reality as it actually is because it tends to cause people to get depressed.
=D
Like that, most people see it as a huge grin face but it’s actually just an equal sign and a capital D.
I believe in the flying teapot. YOU CAN"T PROVE ME IT’S NOT THERE! *stares at the sky"
I meant more if you think about things long enough with logic and reason you eventually end up with nihilistic outlooks on life and life having no meaning is not any way to live.
Clinically, there honestly is no difference between faith and a delusion. Faith can save lives and give meaning to life and I have nothing against it as long as someone doesn’t try to force it onto others, but it’s just not my thing to believe something with no evidence, this has always been my main way of avoiding delusions.
