no hope
just touching
nothing touching my heart
no hope
just touching
touching the lives of others
and here i stand
in defience
against reckless endangerment
and i laugh, and i cry
another insult thrown
my face awash with sin
his of spiteful mutterings
at least i attest to it
what does he do?
and his accomplice
the silence speaks for itself
i have heard nothing
i await the court papers
and the jesters call to arms
silence
is what i hear in my heart
although it talks to me
through the supernatural
right down to my toes
and the bones in my feet
i hear it cry out for something
it is pleading, gimme, gimme, gimme
it wants power
a never ending stream of power
dont deny the power, its a cover up
the power of the law
the unwritten laws
the ones where trees are felled
and no-one cares
and then the whole world chokes
on its own cigar smoke
death lies all around
you want power now?
look what it has done

They’re good, I write the odd poem here, just to vent.
evil spirits lambast the city streets
walking in the shadows and
latching on to innocents
and smiles
the horror when an evil spirits shows its awful face
one look and you freeze and your heart turns to glass
and dust
one look and your soul is instantly torn away
like a ragged shroud from the arms of death.
bedraggled and twisted down into the depth
i hear its cries in the dark
and try to redeem myself with sleep
its a good way to get things out,
Yours are very good, mine are normally just a few lines, but they get the job done for me.
i started writing a long time ago, it started with a few lines here and there but i tried to expand my vocabulary and make things a bit more elaborate, i have lots of old poems saved on allpoetry.com but i don’t think i will use any of these on there, i only frequent that site occasionally and i need practice lol
but yeah, i think its got to come from the heart,
your probably the only person that still likes me on here, i seem to cause trouble where ever i go
