what is the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you?
Honestly I expected my partner to get on one knee and propose marriage one day like in the movies - but I think - if he gets on one knee - he wouldn’t be able to get back up. LOL
Anyway, I like to be romantic - and wish to go to Paris and travel a lot and have some fun - but he is just not into this kinda stuff. If he gets me flowers - it is rare. Or sends mea romantic text message other than ‘are you okay’ ‘why did you post this on Facebook’? ’ are you have delusions’ ? LOL
anyway - once I bought lingerie for like 200$ and he didn’t even like it. Now, I don’t even fit in it.
I try to do the little things for the women I date, though it’s been a little while since I’ve dated. I’m wracking my brain trying to think of things that women have done for me that would be considered romantic. Maybe I just don’t know what romantic is anymore. I got so used to being run down and treated like sh*t by my last gf.

Did he at least try to act like he liked the lingerie? I mean, was he at least nice about it? My ex had a collection; she told me how expensive that stuff can be, like the nicer corsets.

Yeah romantic like being kind and sweet i guess. Say nice things and do nice things.
I’ve sent flowers, other stuff, special dinners, etc, not dated in years, but what I noticed sadly, it was always me going out of my way and none of the same treatment was returned. Not that I expected it, but yes men like being wooed as much as women do

Ah, then yeah, hard to think of romantic things done for me in recent years. My ex-gf (split a year ago) and ex-wife (split in 2008) were the only serious relationships I’ve had, though, the only that have lasted more than a few months.
I hope you’re not totally starved for such nice things.

No i am not. But i consider myself romantic too. I am just crazy i guess. I always plan trips and getaways and stuff. I am just unstable so some days very romantic orher days isolated.
