Do you think social media is a waste of time or does it bring you value

I’m not anymore on FB and LinkedIn and Twitter. But I still use this forum and WhatsApp.

Its a huge waste of time. But im on it constantly. Because i have nkthing to do but waste time.

Depends on the site. Stuff like Facebook, Instagram, etc. are a total waste of time unless you enjoy being advertised to constantly. And Twitter is where intelligence goes to die. I do use Facebook messenger though. I’d rather hang out here, at least you guys and gals are cool.

If I could use messenger without having an FB account I would delete mine. It’s the last one I have left.

What means “wasting time”. I don’t have to worry about food, shelter or safety. So i got lots of time to enjoy myself.

I guess time not spent doing something productive, like learning new skills, improving yourself, partaking in hobbies, etc. Though I guess you could consider anything a waste of time. But if you enjoy something, it’s not a waste of time.

I don’t like social media. Im burned out on it. I’m on Facebook because I’m in three Facebook groups.

I liked keeping up with family on Facebook but heard the government can track all your Facebook and Twitter stuff so I got too paranoid to stay on it.

In regards to this site, I need the support badly enough that I’m on here knowing the government can read everything we say. I just try to deal with the paranoia. My guess is that the government cares more about other social media than they do an sz support site. I could be wrong but it helps me to think like that
