Have tried to do this many times but now I truly feel I’m not getting any benefit and just drama from it. So who needs it.
Which channels where you at?
Facebook and messenger. I’ve tried others and been unimpressed.
I found the password to my old email that had my Facebook.
It was my account from when I was a teen.
Really cringey.
Thank G-d I deleted it.
For me instagram is so addictive. I spend there some hours per day :o
I also want to do the same… At least, sometimes I have this idea to delete everything, except YouTube, Gmail and this forum (: I really spend too much time in social media and it also affects me negatively.
I’m trynna get my clout up now down l0l
I got rid of x Facebook Instagram then a few games. I do keep Gmail for school mostly .
I have no social media either. There is so much to do in life…it’s a big relief to not get distracted by SOME.
I’ve deleted them in the past several times. Now I’m back on, but keep it to a very small circle.
I have only 16 friends on Facebook and 5 on LinkedIn.
I used to have 100s on both.
I was seriously thinking about deleting my Facebook account also
I’m sick of the drama as well
Besides it’s a good way to avoid my brothers abuse online
I deleted almost everything from instagram, and facebook.
This year I created a linkedin account, and I’m happy about it cuz I now I can access many job offers that otherwise I couldn’t
What did you mean?
Is your brother kind of friend on fb?
Speaking of social media though, I love it. Spent this summer figuring out the algorithm.
Next summer hopefully I can get better at that. Something I posted on accident got 850 views, was kinda cool
I enjoy social media, but I curate mine very careful to keep stressful things out of my feed. It is mainly so I can be in contact with other photographers, amateur broadcasters, and friends. I avoid politics on it entirely.
He was until I blocked him
I have instagram and facebook. I rarely post on facebook but post a decent amount on instagram.
Due to the nature of my work it’s important I do not have accounts on social media platforms that identify me. No pictures, no names, and no one has my permission to put my photo on the internet, period. Peers do not seem to understand and are offended when I tell them not to post me online. That is not a reason to be upset but it frequently is. Now I just chose not to have my picture taken under almost all circumstances. I applaud your endeavor to step away from social media.
There’s a joke amongst men/woman who are grinding to be better, all you gotta do is join social media and be shown the top 1% most beautiful people in the world, feel like crap about yourself and get better lol. It’s ridic but kinda true. Life’s hard man
Social media can be pretty toxic.
I’m like @Jonathan2 though, I keep a small circle and if anyone says anything negative about my posts I just give 'em the boot. I don’t have time for dipshits or people that want to bring me down.
