I hope to respect social boundaries, as it is not healthy to intrude privacy except for legitimate reason (e.g. report criminal offense to police).

Yes! When I’m hypomanic I will for some reason sometimes start talking about my depression and anxiety to people I meet. The good thing is a lot of people can relate to those subjects. But after the conversations I always wind up feeling like I talked too much and that I’ve embarrassed myself.

always had this problem, now i tend to keep my mouth shut to everyone for years before I begin to open up.

I learned the hard way that normies don’t want to know the experiences non-normies have; they just can’t handle the truth man.

So, I just keep my boundaries up all the time…but then i get confused when someone else confides in me, like, should i reciprocate and if so with what? I’m still learning how to read people.
