I stopped this stuff cold turkey.

I’m not even worried about side effects. This crap was killing a piece of my soul daily.

You should not quit on your own. You should ask your pdoc for a new mood stabilizer

Yes maybe for psychosis it is but I don’t think I’m bi polar.

I’ve been taking a mood stabaliser all this time and I’m not even bi polar.

I had to quit a mood stabilizer depakote cold turkey because of my liver it took my about a year and a half till I felt normal. Had some fits of rage.

I’m not worried about side effects though. I’m always in pain of some sort whether it’s in my mind or physically.

I’m already feeling better and it a been 2 days.

I’m more excited and feel like my emotions are in check. I’m happy and feel like I can do so much

Be careful, you can have seizures coming on Lamotrigine too quickly!

I’m not bipolar but I NEED my mood stabilizer. I’m sza depressive type. Please be honest with your pdoc, tell them you were worried about the rash and you want to try something different. Or at least taper off the Lamictal so you don’t risk seizures.

If you decide to start taking it again you shouldn’t just take your old dose. You’ll need to start over and work back up because of sj syndrome.
