I used a cash back site to claim £75 off that price above. so around £263 once I get it. not bad for the full year incase we decide to go elsewhere.

How is the coverage?
I informed for travel insurance and they were unwilling to cover pre-existing conditions and psychiatric conditions.
I went with admiral and I have declared my schizoaffective and autism diagnosis. So that’s covered. I did have an issue sometime back trying to get insurance cos I had been admitted to hospital within the 2 years. Now I say no to that cos I haven’t.

It might be cos you planning to stay more than a month which is why you struggled to get cover.

I think the Belgian Travel Insurance industry just works different than the British one.
They basically cover nothing.
It’s the same for short stays.

No one will sell me travel med insurance for outside of Canada. Makes it impossible to travel.

We’ve had this talk before I think in another thread.
It’s why I have to stay within a limited set of countries that have automatic coverage by the Belgian Government.

This is a wound of mine that keeps getting salt rubbed in it. I’m a photographer. I would love to photograph Ireland. That is out of reach for me for the rest of my life now.
