The content of my meds never changed but I tried taking my night meds a few hours earlier, thinking maybe they were effecting my breathing when I was sleeping.
But I got totally sedated today when I took my meds earlier. Was too much. Meds just before bed is the way forward.

I used to take abilify 10mg at night and when I switched to taking it in the morning things got better.
Now I’m on 15mg I’m toying with the idea of taking it at night again.

Is the 15mg more sedating?
A little bit. But right now I start to feel more human as the day goes on , so maybe if I take it at night I’ll wake up feeling better than I do now.
10mg didn’t work out at night. But maybe 15mg might. It’s tempting to try it.

Some people say ability can cause insomnia. But maybe for you the sedative effects of the 15mg will be enough to get a good sleep.

I never had insomnia on it even when I was taking 10mg at night. It’s just that the 10mg seemed to “wear off” during the day.
The 15mg might be different as there’s “more” of it lol. The only way to know is to try it sometime.

I think getting the timing schedule of meds is really tricky. It’s not one size fits all. Have you thought of split doses?

I hadn’t considered split doses. Don’t get me wrong though, It’s not that things are bad right now I’m just wondering if I could improve things.

Mate. I do pretty good but I take the meds same time every day if possible. That means far more often than not! There’s always something that may change that but keeping regular works totally well for me! Experimenting to get it right is worth it but once you find something decent for you then lock it in with regularity!
