I’m slightly stressed today but a little more than I think I should be. Typically, I take a half day or something to cope but tomorrow is full of things I can’t easily move and doing so may just make things more stressful.
Stress tends to cause me some weird thoughts. Today’s example, the people in my head are around (they aren’t here every day) and they’re telling me they’re in the basement. I know it’s fake but it’s still kinda scary.
Any distressing techniques y’all use during the day would be greatly appreciated. I’m going to do some breathing. I just don’t want the people to start feeling more real than they do right now. Life is going really good right now.
Tea and some relaxing music helps me a little. Sometimes i try to clear my mind by using a breathing technique where you focus on the air breathing out your nose. Sometimes it helps.
I think I would focus more on my tasks for the next day. Make a proactive plan by writing out each step you will have to take, and let the voices know you can’t deal with them right now cause your too busy. You’ll get back to them as soon as you can.
I contend that stress and censorship manifest creative and correct thoughts, with in those that need no correction. Its only when we think illness is a state of being and wellness is state of things, the real problems begin. Your post was rational and reasoned and I found no error in your expression. Don’t widgetize your existence, or you will be a slave of what you consume.
