Sleepwalking

Have you experienced sleepwalking? Once many years ago I experienced it.

I think it happens / happened to @jukebox . I might be wrong though.

I walked in my sleep when I was a young boy…never since then…

I’ve gotten you mixed up with someone else then. Maybe it was @SurprisedJ. But he’s not on the forum anymore …

I sleepwalked a few times back when i drank heavily at night. I also had a tendency to talk in my sleep.

When I took zopiclone I sometimes did that and other weird things

One time at boarding school many decades ago, I got caught going between buildings after sneaking out to watch a movie in the sixth form common room. I was just heading back with a pillow in my hands and in a dressing gown when a teacher caught me crossing the quad.

I faked sleep walking by speaking a little gibberish and not being fully compos mentis. I told him that I’d left the window open, repeating it several times and just went on my way. It fooled him enough for the house master to use it as an anecdote in a future English class.

I think i got away with it after having a history of screaming nightmares in the past…

Ive sleepwalked many times. Mostly when I was on zolpidem for sleep. I went to bed with half a pizza on the kitchen counter and woke up with no pizza. I also went to sleep in my bed and woke on the couch in the living room+++

I dont use zolpidem anymore, I use clonazepam instead, and that is actually given to people with bad noctambulism (sleepwalkings medical term). So Its been a while now.

Once, in the hospital. I got up one morning and walked by the nurses station and three of them were laughing at me. I asked why they were laughing and they told me I had gotten up during the night and walked up to them and started babbling about something and then walked back to my room. I didn’t remember anything.
