Don’t sleep during the day.

I did that for a while too. It’s fun for a while but eventually you get depressed

It’s in the middle of the night here. I hate it when I fall asleep during the day. I live in an apartment. I can’t take showers, I can’t clean or do anything that’s loud. Also the stores are closed so I can’t buy food if I run out.

shower in the day and go to bed early. thats what i did . dont trust comfort

Shoot, I’ve had this sleeping pattern for five months now. I fall asleep around 6am. I work from 8pm-12am on weekdays so it kinda works out but I’ve been feeling more depressed lately

I have the exactly same sleep pattern. I sleep 6 morning and wake up in the afternoon and so it’s been for the last 20 years

Expose yourself to sunlight at about the time you want to wake up. Stop using gadgets at night.

Takes me a week to adjust, going to bed later and later until I am back. But usually I love the evening and nighttime.

I get easily bored at daytime, unless I go for walks then it is usually nice to be awake at day. I’ve read that not everyone has a similar wake and sleep cycle, many people are different. I used to work nightshifts because of this, and so I could watch the nightsky (even saw a lightbeam which I was convinced was a ufo). Didn’t regret the nightshift, was calm and peaceful. When summer hits I usually get annoyed by all the business and rowdyness of summer and enjoy the evenings. In Spain they also live the evenings, and even eat at midnight when the weather is too hot. Just different, and love that.

Yesterday I slept from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm. I was up all night, but I feel surprisingly alert. I don’t know why.

I just found out why. I forgot to take my med’s.

i did this starting at age 14. first day of high school i was still awake at 5 am watching vietnam war movies and smoking cigarettes on the deck. id go to sleep with the birds waking up. that was kind of beautiful. missed most of freshman year that way. couldnt get out of bed in the morning. i was a night person. when i was a young kid i had some insomnia. in my 20s i was up all night and slept days. worked nights too. tried.

now i am a morning person. it can change! i wake up between 4am and 7am now. am in bed by 6pm.

Feeling much more calm early morning, evening and at night… at midday and afternoon I cannot function. Maybe different biological clock. Don’t know. Don’t worry about it either, is what it is, if it helps to alleviate my symptoms I am good…

You have to got to bed early and wake up early for a few days gradually pushing it back until it gets back to normal.
A lot of people here have this issue. It was a huge bother for me too for a long time.
