Sleep center just called me and left a voicemail about having a cancellation for tonight for a sleep study and wanted to know if I could come in tonight I don’t know what to do part of me wants to get it over with but what if I can’t do it for some reason or breathe when wearing the CPAP mask and have to come home early still not over being sick I am better but the breathing issues are still there I am stuck on what to do do I go? Or wait till March when I was supposed to go for a sleep study any advice would be appreciated thanks
I just called the sleep center back about the cancelation they had for a sleep study and apparently someone else took it before I could even call them back. That was my fault for not answering the phone call the first time if I had answered the phone, I may have got in to do the sleep study tonight. Well Damn pardon my language they must have called someone else right after me since they couldn’t get a hold of me and the other person got the appointment, well that sucks. It’s Just as well I didn’t really feel well enough to go because still have this respiratory illness getting better by the way but not completely out of the woods yet. I would of went anyway though and told them that I couldn’t wear the full-face mask like before it smothers me and suffocates me, or I feel Like I am smothering with it on but maybe they could try a different mask maybe that would help and not feel so constrictive I know they would work with me to find the right fit.
There will most likely be more cancelations before March for you. At least you know you are on the top of their waiting list.
