Go for my sleep study tomorrow night

I go to my sleep study tomorrow night it has been confirmed and I already checked in online, so I don’t have to feel out a bunch of papers when I get there, I will have to have a talk with the sleep tech though and let him/her know I have been sick for over a month with some type of respiratory illness and having shortness of Breath or difficulties breathing and having to yawn to catch my breath every 2 to 3 minutes I hope she/he understands the situation and I may not be able to do a full night wearing a CPAP mask .So, I am already having anxiety about going but I am going to at least try and if I can’t do it, I can’t do it somehow, I would have to let them know and I don’t know if they will understand me with a mask on saying I can’t do it. Maybe I could try a different mask maybe that would make a difference in whether I can do it or not or for how long I can wear the mask I don’t know but that could be an option just can’t do a nasal mask because I breathe primarily through my mouth so wish me luck and will update how it goes

Good luck!

It must be a relief that you didn’t have to wait months for this appointment.

Let us know how it goes.

Good luck @psychward101
Have you considered making an appointment with a pulmonologist?

Your breathing issue sounds pretty critical

I have already seen a pulmonologist last year when I had similar issues he just said to use afrin if I have to and that absolutely have to get back on my cpap and that I have to wear it for life which I would do if I could but right now I can only use it for up to 1 and a half hoirs at night
