Unique less common type of schizophrenia. Mild or no positive symptoms. Gradually progressing negative symptoms that progress to a point generally worse than the other types of schizophrenia. Avolition reaches an extreme and dangerous level where the sufferer cannot even care for their basic needs. Eventual level of emotional blunting much more severe than what’s seen in depression. Complete shutdown of the “hedonic” response of the brain. Everything is uninteresting.Anyonewith simple schizophrenia and how long have you experienced it and what are your exact symptoms?

Paging @far_cry0. He’s the only person here I know of with simple sz.
One example I have is that I have had a biting insect infestation on body for eight years. Avolition so extreme can’t figure out or find motivation to get it to end. Just keep itching year after year. Also extremely hard to think or conversate and everything I say always seems incorrect. Sit in living room stare at ground and think about same two topics for hours while talking to self. This goes on day after day. Extremely narrow interests.

@Plindiana go and talk to ur pdoc about ur dx… sz simplex is no more in existence. .

@anon51414962 yes i woke up at 9.30am… seroquel makes me sleepy all day long… i just had rice and veggie. . I think i will rest for sometime. I am planning to drink a red bull…

Yes but treatment depends… some are given low dose of ap where as some are given anti depressant…!!! Talk to ur pdoc…
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia simplex
6.5 years ago now I have disorganised schizophrenia.
I’m better at exercising, grooming, brushing teeth, showering,
wash clothes, sleeping, making food than I was 6.5 years ago.
One thing has gone downhill and that is the ability
to get up to take the train to visit family (1 hour
train ride away) this might be due I want to “have
my own life” which is my goal. I haven’t had a social
life in 6.5 years if I don’t count my family. This
I think was my biggest mistake. My doctor tried
helping me get a job but I didn’t see the point
or why should I. Stupid of me but that’s my
problem.
My symptoms were “none” I had no drive
to do anything. But it’s important to do
something so we get the stimilus from
social interaction and the feeling
of being useful.

Initially, I had undifferentiated schizophrenia. I would stare into space and chain smoke. I thought nothing was real. I thought nothing existed outside my head. I didn’t think I was real. I thought I was just a brain in a vat hooked up to some sort of computer experiencing a false reality. Took me 6 years to not care and get over it. I’m comfortable talking about it now.
I had the same thought solipism. Drove me into a deep hell
