They all got a little distorted for some reason. Pls give me some feedback!!! Would anybody pay money for a print of something like these?
Wow! Those are really good. You could definitely sell them, maybe even have your own local art exhibit. top one I think would make some great tats!
They’re very interesting and detailed. Especially the fourth picture with the tiny figure going into the tunnel under the earth and roots.
I love the second one! Great job, you are talented!
The angel dog in the upper left picture—is that a basset hound?
Yes @Moonbeam a basset, well actually a beagle basset. My best friend in the world Ziggy, he passed away a little over 2 yrs ago. I still cry missing my little guy.
This was a great topic especially since i just happened to have my notebook out doing some drawing. Anybody like graffiti?
Yes love it
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. It’s always tough to lose a beloved pet.
Thanks, it definitely is. The top picture is of my mastiff, Zeus, hes my baby. And the bottom is of my shepard mix, Tip, i had growing up.
Ive always drawn, i go into a peaceful state where all the “noise” kind of settles into the backround, so it has always just been for me. I have recently decided to try and make some money with my talent and have absolutely no idea how to go about it. If anyone has any tips for an aspiring artist on how to make a living drawing please let me know!!! I can really only do grey-scale graphite pencil or pen work, i have a hard time with colors and cannot paint to save my life. Tips are appreciated! !!
I remember in a recent post that @HQuinn is starting to show some of her art and is looking into ways to sell her art. Maybe she has some pointers for you.
Oh. My. God. We seriously have some undiscovered gems here!
I like each one of it @Reggie but specially those with a trees and a tunnel. Do you give names your art works? Like that mad tree is really poignant.
I’m sorry @turningthepage but you just got beaten.
I usually do @Sarad but it takes me awhile to come up with the titles. First ones i posted are my most recent works, the tunnel tree i just finished. Even tho i never think anything i do is ever finished for some reason.
The second on that post i showed someone earlier today and we were trying to title it. Its kind of a metaphor on duality and the two sides of the path, the right side being full of dead trees, the left all live and bushy, with a tree split right in the middle at the end of the path.
Still no names tho for any of them. Im open to ideas?..inner treason (tree-son) for the first one? Nah…i find it hard to name my work because i see everything unfinished, the name should be last i think.
But i have a thing for trees, they creep me out sometimes but also have a protective kind of feel. I dont know prob just too many bad trips in the woods, lol. I subconsciously put faces in all my trees and dont realize until im done or someone else points them all out
I like alive trees since I read and watched The Lord of the Rings
If you say so
