I have been skipping meds (I’m on 300mg clozapine only) and idk if I even need it
I used to be on Abilify Maintena at one point but it made my eyes weird :confused:

Skipping clozapine is extremely dangerous. Have you told your medical team you’re doing this?

You may have to start at a lower dose all over again.

I been skipping mine too, and I shouldn’t … I need to be consistent in taking them

I would say go on an injection if you have troubles remembering to take them. Or you could use a pill box/app cehck list to remind yourself to take them.

If you want medication but hate remembering to take pills then yes

The general rule is, if you stop Clozapine for more than 48hr, you got to be re-titrated from the beginning. Maybe in community, maybe in hospital.

Its a very dangerous game to miss doses and be inconsistent. Please let your team know. Depot Clozapine may be the way to proceed.

I think it’s only used in exceptional circumstances and for short periods. I don’t know why.
