Should I carry around a ‘Mentally Ill, or Schizophrenic’ card everywhere? People don’t seem to understand why I do or say what I do. It’s frustrating. This is for new people I may meet. Should I or just not bother explaining at all?

It’s up to you, sometimes I’d like a card that explains my condition. With that being said, you dont owe anyone an explanation. We are who we are, and we shouldn’t have to explain our somewhat eccentric behavior. A sorry is appropriate if you feel you may have crossed a boundary, but you dont have to explain yourself for coming off as “abnormal.”

Yeah I found some website selling medical braclets that said a schizophrenic should wear one. That’s all I need, strangers or people that I work with coming up to me and asking me what that is. I’m not real sure why you would need one. I dont consider it a life threatening condition. Perhaps if you go around not taking your medication acting wacky then maybe so. But even then If your acting wacky, someone can pretty much figure out that you have a mental problem.

I try to keep my diagnosis somewhat of a secret. So, no, I don’t need any cards or bracelets announcing my sza condition to people. It’s none of their beeswax.

So. With That Said, Learn to Build Peaceful Walls And Reject Anyone or Anything That Doesn’t Want to Understand…,

Nothing to Feel Guilty or Ashamed About…,

Sad to Say, But There is Alot of People on Thus Planet Looking For a Freak Show…,

Something to Grip, to Make Themselves Feel Better About Their Own Flaws And Faults That They Can’t Seem to Understand, So They Try to Find Easy Targets…,

Me Personally, Have Become Very Sensitive to My Surroundings. Quick Noises, Sharp Looks, Mumbling, Cackling. Endless Rows of Houses (as radiohead likes to say), Looking For Something “weaker” Than Themselves…,
