Should I bring my mom to my psychiatrist appointment tomorrow?

Im seeing my psychiatrist today, not sure what to ask for med change or not. I am also reapplyong for disability allowance so I need for him to sort out the paperwork. I live with my mom and she had seen me in many states and she is really talkative and could explain in detail about my situation. However, my psychiatrist mainly focuses on me and doesnt really like bringing in another person. What should i do?

Its ok to take a friend, family member etc to appointment if you want.
Can be good with support.

Maybe she dont understand illness But know your symptoms and can say something.

If you want to I would. Depends how much you trust your Mum I think. But remember its your appointment even if you do bring her along. The focus should be on you.

I think if you think your mom can explain what’s going on with you better than you can, you should bring her.

Same here, I used to bring my mom at the beginning but not anymore later as my pdoc told me he wants to see me alone and that I am an adult.
