I mean, really? I don’t think i function badly but if i had to work full time id probably not be able to cope… i am not entitled to any sort of benefits. so i do worry what would happen if i can’t work
Does Britain give disability benefits?
yeah they do… not to me though… i don’t qualify
you have a mental illness that you control but it may not be enough to qualify for pip. if you made a claim now for out of work benefits you’d be put on universal credit i think and its not very much, you may need to get food at a food bank if you were still struggling, they have cut right back on what they give to new claimants
With disability here in the USA if you’re denied the first time you can hire a lawyer and appeal. Why don’t you qualify?
im not out of work as i work 20 hours if i didnt live at home i probably wouldn’t survive.
i don’t fit the criterea basically i can look after myself…
I would talk to your cpn about it, it is very unusual for them to not give you benefits with a sz diagnosis. You should tell them on your application how it has affected your ability to work.
It’s great that you’re able to work, but scary that you need to rely on your parents. I rely on my husband a lot. He’s my hero.
its actually bipolar but the struggle still real
i try to help out but its hard still
I have a friend with that, I think she is on benefits. I did not know there was no guarantee of support though.
are you doing ok @anon80629714
I remember that your’e raising your meds.
I hope everything is going alright.
yeah but only if absolutely necessary i just got bloods done to rule out anything psychical… i feel slightly better t hough
Who that ???
@anon80629714 maybe go to citizens advice. They are good at filling in forms. A lot of forms look for key phrases and such.
Ha! Not deserving.
Look elsewhere.
You be pressing your views, and it’s not allowed anyway.
@gershom_worrell. Keep talking like that and you’ll get suspended. Just be careful. I very rarely flag anyone. Just so you know.
Not any more it doesnt.
