Shots vs pills

How to convince my team to give me the shot instead of having to take pills everyday. If I had the option I’d much rather choose the shot !

talk about it with your pdoc… explain him/her why you rather be on the shot.

They won’t do it as I’m complaint and they’d much rather discharge me. They do it every time.

My doctor didn’t think I needed to get injections.
She said that I was compliant taking the pills.

I asked her once.

@Wave , @anon80629714 , Why would anyone rather have shots than pills? For one thing they hurt like heck. Mine do anyway. For another they’re inconvenient having to arrange transportation to go into the clinic and I don’t drive. For another they’re extremely expensive if you have to pay for them.

I prefer the shots but my Mom gives me my injection each month so I don’t worry about making appointment

Is that legal? I only thought that nurses and doctors can give the shots…

Just insist. Tell them you can’t remember the pills as it is getting harder for you.

I don’t understand why they’d fight it. Shots are so much easier. And don’t worry about pain, they’re not that bad. Invega was worse than my new Aristada, but I’d still rather have the shot.

I’m NOT able to remember pills so the shot makes it where I have steady meds all month. Just tell your pdoc yoy want the shot and insist.

Usually injections more safer than pills because it doesn t affect liver like pills.pills causing fatty liver in patients
