Serious question for all writers and artists

I use acrylic and mixed media together…because they dry quickly! I have usually been “haunted” by a vision or specific angel and know I need to paint it. I tend to not paint the demons, and only sometimes the more negative images. The angels almost always (9/10) belong to someone and end up with that erson. I do sell because I don’t have much money and the supplies csn be expensive. What is yor inspiration, Msea?

That’s interesting the way you get inspired! I usually set out to paint an emotion that intrigues me or haunts me. Sometimes it’s an emotion that I’m struggling with or an experience…could be painting for therapy in some ways-highly personal work, I guess that’s why I’m unsure how saleable it is.

It’s difficult to put my work out there. Sometimes when I have, people have gotten the wrong idea. No one has to love my paintings, but it’s hurtful and frustrating when someone has a completely wrong idea. And then, sometimes someone is really moved or touched in some way and it gives me purpose. I think you’re talented @Msea, and I think you should try

Thankyou, I think I will try :))

I felt that way when I believed my music was satanic… for years I intended to scandalize the world and had a lust for destruction. I sensed the depths of hell when I was getting high as a teen and I lost all that was important to me before I even knew it. It took another sz to help me realize my visions and ideas weren’t satanic but rather symbolic kindred views of my soul. He is a junkie now but I believe he has a place in nirvana
