Story of my life. (Thankfully, grace and mercy are also the stories of my life!)
Lost 12 lbs. Ate marshmallows, chips, and chocolate. Drank chocolate milk. Why?
Can you relate?

Sometimes when we reach a goal we tend to congratulate ourselves in some way. A kind of self pleasure. No need to beat yourself up @FlyingPurplePeopleMeeter it’s only natural.
I always am really negative about myself. I call it self discipline but it’s probably not healthy. So yeah I can relate. I think we just have to love ourselves more. And others of course.
This is is a strange post are you better or worse??
Hey @Daze! Good to see you!
I’m better in some areas and worse in others. How are you?
Need to find new psych doc honey but doing okay.
I always self sabotage when I’m close to being under 300 pounds. I’m doing it right now. I was 302 a few weeks ago now I’m at 305 and probably higher I stress binge ate last night at 2 in the morning.
I do this every time.
Let’s support each other!! I can’t get below 235 for the SAME reason! Are there foods to need to avoid or not have in the house at this time? Are there lower calorie foods you can binge on that don’t add the calories?
I resisted shop rites big box of cookies for 1.99 this time
It’s like shop rite wants you to binge on 25 cookies in a 2 day span
YAY! Proud of you!! You are inspirational!! Each time you resist, you build momentum and stamina!! Way to press on!
Yes, i do that, with other topics though…i didnt even start to diet now.
I need to start binging on fruits and veggies. I ate ice cream, candy bars, chicken thighs, and some flaming hot cheetos. I felt so ashamed afterwards.
Thanks for the support!
I feel that louise. I lost 9 pounds but the cookies my parents keep buying are getting to me lol.
Trust me, of all people I can totally relate. Just love and forgive yourself and do better going forward.
By the way, I love how you said grace and mercy are also the stories of your life. I really adore you. You are a lovely woman.
The shame will only trap and enslave you! I wish I could free you!
When you want to go for a binge, lay out every item you are going to eat. Then, switch as many as you can with healthier food. Even if it’s just one, that’s OKAY.
Also, before you binge,

I know binges come at inconvenient times, that’s why I didn’t suggest going for a walk, calling a friend, taking a drive, or sleeping. But those are helpful, too.
Eek! So hard when not everyone is trying to eat the same way. My husband and two kids still want their pancakes, sandwiches, and muffins! Also, we’re going on vacation this weekend and next with family who eat cereal, candy, and bread. I just gain on it! But it will be hard to resist!
Do you have any tips on how to say resist around family?
Thank you so much for the kind words and helpful advice! Your support means a lot.
Your words are very kind and generous! I can’t live up to them! But thank you!
You inspire me! You offer so much support and attentiveness here, yet you are going through so much!! I have no idea how you stay energized to help so many people when what you’re going through is incredibly exhausting! It’s beautiful to me that you balance asking for and giving support with skill and finesse! You’re AMAZING!
And, I’m so sorry you can relate to self-sabotage. I don’t want that for you at all! I want you to excel!
We’re in this together!
Absolutely! If you’re ever in need of a helping hand just message me or @ me on here.
