I started reading selfhelpbooks before i got diagnosed with sz. It was about 2 years earlier. When i have been told i had sz i knew straight away that my career will be limited cause people in high position would get found out an early episode sz. Anyway, the medications and therapists made me talk about it. I admitted it publicly.
