Probably because self control leads to making the right decisions about what we do.

I don’t have much self-control. I only do things when I feel like it. I only do things when I’m going to enjoy them. I live with my father and he is very in control of his self. And I find he is also a very controlling person. He’s like a control freak. But he keeps life interesting.
