I been having a problem with anxiety too. My old doc had me on clonazepam but my new doc doesn’t like benzos in the long term. Fair enough.
Might ask him to write to my GP though asking they give me some during my bad times. Generally my family doctors don’t like to get involved with my psych meds.
In fact I am pretty sure my local GP thinks I am trying to get benzos just to get high.
That’s a bit rude I think. I don’t think my GP likes to have anything to do with my psych meds either. He has general interest in how they are working for me and any side effects they might be causing but doesn’t really want to get involved in any of it.
I’m fine with that. I have to see my psychiatrist fortnightly at the moment anyway.
