I think I’m seeing her about my mood swings. I hope she doesn’t put me on lithium. Someone on here said it damaged their kidneys and they need dialysis now and I don’t want that. I also don’t want to gain weight from a mood stabilizer.

I think there are other mood stabilisers available. Make sure you make your concerns clear.

I’m hoping if she puts me on a mood stabilizer it will be Lamictal.

I think if they were to put you on lithium they would periodically do lab work to make sure that doesnt happen

I tried lithium for a few months. Mild side effects but it didnt do anything for me unfortunately.
