And any other fast food raising thier prices to this degree.
I will probably never eat there again.
I live in iowa. The minumum wage here is $7.25 an hour I think. This means someone working an 8 hour day on minimum wage would earn 58 dollars for that day before taxes and such are taken out.
I went to get taco bell for us a short time ago today. I got one hardshell supreme taco party pack and 1 softshell party pack(not supreme). Any idea what it cost? Almost 52 dollars!
This means that someone working minimum wage would have to spend their entire day working to purchase this taco bell. For TACO BELL. Junk food basically.
I dont plan on going there again. It’s outrageous. If Im going to spend that much money, I might as well get something better to eat.
I’ve seen a meme going around, measuring inflation in ‘Big Macs Per Hour’ of minimum wage. That seems like a fairly straightforward way to look at things.
Check out how much meat was in my crunchwrap supreme. I noticed it felt super flat and opened it up and this was the view. I’m never ordering any more closed-up items at that location. There are two nearby, the other one doesn’t pull this crap. I will probably go there instead for awhile.
I feel bad for workers who work at fast food joints, I think they need a higher minimum wage. Workers at places like this make double in California what they do here in Virginia, it’s insane.
They won’t shut up about their cantina chicken lol. They just happened into a large supply of it and now everyone has to eat chicken whether they like it or not!
Minimum wage here is like 12.00 an hour, I make a little more than that
