A very interesting discussion on consciousness & science by Rupert Sheldrake -
He’s not stupid, Sheldrake. It’s a pity that he’s been so sidelined.
Found the part about Alain de Boton very funny, temples and sermons for atheists. He’s certainly had some interesting contacts during his academic career. And interesting about the influence of his journeys to India, it seems to have been very formative in opening new doors. Some amusing anecdotes.
He poses some very interesting questions, it does make you see how many assumptions there are underlying science and materialism which have been there for centuries. Fascinating talk on the history of these concepts.
Thanks for posting this, apo.
Thanks Kerome.
