‘Schizophrenic’ as an adjective?

Have you ever heard someone use ‘schizophrenic’ as a descriptive term?

I hate to admit but pre diagnosis I heard someone use it to describe something, and I though it was an appropriate use in context.

I wonder how old you have to be before you learn not to use the word… For me it was 30 y.o. @ diagnosis.

This is where I ran accross it:

My sister uses the term all the time, it sometimes hurts my feelings but I haven’t said anything about it. You would think she would be more cautious about using the term. But I guess it’s because my diagnosis is sza she doesn’t make the connection the same way I do.

I have a news feed that gets me news based on the search term “schizophrenia” and every so often it’ll be a political story.

Like some politicians saying something is political schizophrenia etc.

i personally dislike when people use those kinds of desriptions, like “Crazy” “insane” “schizophrenic” etc etc.

I’ve heard it used, it was used correctly, but I’m ambivalent.

My local MP at the time used it and I contacted her on fb and corrected her usage of the word “Schizophrenia” when she obviously meant using multiple personality disorder. It was Amber Rudd. She at first didn’t know what i was getting at but came round on explanation.
