I have psychsosis but i also get extremely hyper but i never get depression anymore about 2 years ago i used to have weeks where my mood would be really low but i dont know if i would call it depression some weeks my symptoms like anxiety or social withdrawl get worse but thats about it some times my mood is normal but slightly on the more hyper side but then i have times where im extremely hyper i can usually sleep but sometimes i just cant lie there and then if i do eventually sleep the second i wake up ill jump out of bed does this sound like schizo affective disorder?

No im not diagnosed for anything I hallucinate alot but kindve psychedelic hallucinations and shadows sometimes people and realistic things but not often im not really delusional i have somatic delusions sometimes but im just wondering like how does schizoaffective disorder start off like do the symptoms like depression and mania start of slowly then like worsen the longer you have the disorder or do you just do straight into proper mania and depression
