Good morning folks!
Another very early morning for myself. It’s 3:08a.m. right now. I’ve been up since 1:30a.m.
I managed to let my cats out of my bedroom for a little while 1:30-3 before my aunt’s cat starting acting up and wanted to be let out of her room. Our cats don’t mix.
Anybody up for the night/day at this hour?

I am developing a new technology to treat schizophrenic patients. The treatment does not involve any un natural chemical ingestion: but relies on a radio-frequency like ‘trigger’ to block/open brain receptors.
I’m running into problems of connecting the frequency to the brain though r n
Went swimming today even i wasn’t in the mood. I feel better i got to the pool. This is the fourth time in a row. I want to add a second day in a week for swimming. I pad myself on the shoulder

Here they have ‘experts by experience’ in most psychiatric hospitals. It are basically people with lived experience who have recovered enough to help people in crisis.
They also need to follow a training of 2 years full-time. My pdoc mentioned it to me. I think she would like me to do that in time.

I guess it depends on where you live.
I’m in Belgium and you need an Associate’s Degree in social work with a a specialization as a peer support worker (ervaringsdeskundige).
I think it’s more or less the same but it’s sometimes difficult to translate between different systems and languages.

@Pikasaur sounds like you could use a good listener at this moment. If we can get the mods to list them for you there are a lot of people that could help you without necessarily having to commit yourself.
