My dad used to play the trombone in the morning to wake us up.

Thanks for bringing back the memories!

I am travelling to a different place for work purpose. Just couple of days for training. Hopefully things go well and be back.

I loove the say anything thread so much, so much doesnt even begin to describe how useful an outlet it is when i am stressed.

Gonna lift some weight hoping to decrease some of the anxiety that is ravaging my heart at the moment!

Work is going okay. I’m really not tired. Had two coffees.

My colleague is the best.

She’s so funny.

We work and clean the same department but different parts of it.

I took my 9 yr old boxer to the vet today for a check up. He has a lot of issues with his eyes and may need to see an ophthalmologist, which i didnt even know was a thing for dogs! We fear he is going blind. He also has a mild ear infection. My poor old man. The puppy goes in for her first vet check on friday!

Back “in the day”, I was in a band called GORESHREKDELECTUS, which was “free improvisation guided by hand gestures”. Conventional rock band set-up, but we had a TROMBONE !! At one show as we were unloading our gear, a guy from a death metal band also on the bill saw and exclaimed “Who the fck is gonna play a fcking trombone?” And a merry time was had by all.

Yea, I’ve got a break atm. I really just feel like partying in the staff room with my colleague though. Anyway.

How’s the no smoking going.

Hehe, coffee got you good :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I did four or so days and gave up. Ive decided to instead of quit cold turkey, try to reduce the intake again. Baby steps instead

That’s a good idea. It’s nice to see you haven’t given up but are trying other ways.

Im surprised how difficult it gets psychologically. Its wierd, your brain actualy feel like its having fun when youre smoking but youre not having fun at all

Its the wierdest drug about. Because its a complete illusion

Happy to hear you are still working and ever happier to see that youre managing the workload, awesome stuff

Thanks everyone. The Jinx was my bed buddy. She slept between my legs every night. Had kidney, liver failure and pancreatitis. Her blood work was all bad.

They gave us a paw print at the vet to remember her

RIP Jinx. Jul 2008 to April 25th 2023. Don’t know her exact birth date.

I got the Jinx while home on convalescent leave after my first hospitalization. She has been with me through it all. I still have her sister Xena.

Sounds similar.
Xena is cool.

I also like the name Zoe.
