How are yāall doing tonight? Iām at work, but Iām hanging in there.
I just got hit on by a customer. Iām not really attracted to her, based on some things I know about her, and Iām hung up on someone else anyway, but it made me feel good all the same.
Admittedly sometimes I wonder what folks on here think of me. I feel like I am not very popular Sometimes I am afraid I come off as a know it all. I donāt mean to be. I try to share knowledge they teach us in school is all. What the textbook teaches doesnāt always match up with experience however. It is good to learn where the discrepancies are I think.
Anyways I shouldnāt be bothered by what others think of me. Still I worry.
I wouldnāt worry about it, Anna. I know I donāt reply to you often, but itās not personal; I just usually donāt know what to say. Sometimes your posts get really long, and I get overwhelmed when I see large blocks of text, so I end up not reading them or at least not reading the whole thing.
My legs feel so much better. I wish the wounds would stop oozing so I wouldnāt have to wash the floors several times a day, but theyāre improving every day.
Movement is also becoming easier each day.
Iām in Virginia, ate at the old McDonaldās near our old house. 10 nuggets, a cheeseburger, some fries, and a coke. Hereās some pictures from the window seat of the plane:
Well, I like English and US culture because I know them (TV, news, culture etc.) and I donāt feel so distant from all Anglo Saxon culture.
I feel European too and close to German culture too because they are our neighbors. I like Italian people, spanish people, belgian people etc. too !
About Cajun people, I watched a TV series about it. I donāt remember the tittle. It was after Hurricane Katrina.
well I canāt really think of any reasonable reason to go tearing mailbox lids off so I figure it was vandalism. I wonder if itās related to whatās been going on with the riots or if it was just random hooligans.
My friends and I, when we were young punks, would sometimes go out at night and bust off the flags on mailboxes. We called them āflags of victory.ā And yeah, sometimes weād bend the hell out of the lids. Kids do dumb stuff.
