I’m so sick my throat is burning, my ears and head hurt, and my nostrils are sore from blowing my nose. I just woke up from a nightmare where I was locked in a mental hospital again and was begging to get out.
I own my mobile home now but back when I was buying it I paid $125/month for lot rent and $275/month mortgage I think. The thing about mobile homes that I now realize is that they’re cheaply built. Everything in my house needs repaired but I have been here for 20 years. Cost of living in WV is lower than in other places so you might consider WV.
@lifer. Somewhere I heard that it’s preferable to live below your means. The job I had I could’ve bought a small house but a mobile home is fine.
I can’t wait to move out. Sis talks so loud it bothers me
I’m about to take my dog to Petsmart for grooming. I have to buy a box and an envelope, too, for my sister’s and Dad’s presents. Target is right by the Petsmart, so I can do that while I’m in that area. I am sending 11 eyeshadow palettes to my sister along with mascara and eye makeup remover balm (she’ll need it lol). My dad is getting a button-down shirt and two magazine subscriptions. And I’m sending my mom some blush, mascara, foundation, and perfume. I spent the most on her but that was because I had a Macy’s gift card. She knows she is getting foundation because I asked her to do a color match for Estee Lauder’s Double Wear so that I’d know what color to get her.
I like west virginia. been there a few times, it’s a beautiful state. moving to Oregon is my preference as I really enjoyed my year there, but it is an expensive state to live in. I would also like to live in a more liberal area, like a college town or somewhere, Athens, urbana, and eugene, are all college towns… also somewhere with public transit or is bicycle friendly like eugene. other than the rain, eugene is perfect for me weather wise. I fear savannah, ga, may be a little too hot for me but it would be nice late fall, all winter, and early spring.
I may also consider a move to Bloomington, IN. I lived there for 4 years after high school and really enjoyed it. that’s if I stay in Indiana.
If you ever do consider moving to WV Morgantown is a college town. It’s a rich people town though. It’s a cultural melting pot. Very artsy fartsy there. Huntington is also a college town.
Have you ever been white water rafting?
I’ve been crying a lot lately, uncontrollably.
I just recently switched mood stabilizers and I’m due for my haldol shot tomorrow.
I hope everything will be ok
I hate being sick! Hate it hate it hate it!
I need to make food but I feel like a truck hit me. This happens every winter!
I went rafting on the Colorado river this past august. but it was only class 3 and a couple class 4 rapids. the water was down a little because it was mid summer. I hear west virginia has great rafting. mom and dad went once on the gulley river? when I was little with a group, but I stayed behind with grandma.
I like it but im not a big thrill seeker, I get a little nervous going over the rapids. we didn’t even have to wear a helmet when we went in august. the guides said it was suitable for 6 year olds and up. so it was pretty tame. most of it was calm water.
@GoldenRex, Hi friend! Just letting you know that I did watch the pilot episode of The Twilight Zone last night.
And I loved it!
I hope you all are feeling well.
Great episode!
I love it when he’s finally out of the chamber and is talking to the moon.
You’re really going to enjoy that box set!
Oh yeah, it’s an awesome pilot. What a way to introduce a legendary show!
Yes, I’m really looking forward to the rest of the box set. I have many episodes to explore.
Last night I also watched Orson Welle’s “F For Fake.” It’s sort of like an experimental documentary that Welles made.
Fun flick, I couldn’t finish it all the way though. I got really sleepy. I’ve seen it before though, but I picked up a copy from my library to refresh it in my mind.
The topic is say anything.
So I expressed my belief in god. What was so offensive about it that it was removed. It’s just belief in God
Sorry you are feeling down, hope the meds work for you
Yeah. The Gulley River I think is next to the New River. My dad owns a camp on the New River and when I was a teenager we’d swim along the bank with my sister and my dad’s then gf. She was only 6 years older than me. She would help my sister and I flirt with the rafters as they floated by. Of course this woman was a trophy gf. Absolutely gorgeous with a nice body so the guys always smiled at her.
I just slept all day again. Oh well there wasn’t anything exciting on my schedule today anyhow. Dad is making a pizza for supper.
Later I’ll do my usual. Have a good one guys.
well I finally went to one of my nephew’s basketball games. he played pretty good, made a 3 and a reverse layup and had a few rebounds and steals. but they lost by 5. o well.
now just going to have some smokes and try to get bed before midnight. right now im listening to talk radio. a financial show that comes on at night.
also dad bought me dinner tonight, I got a fish sandwich and cup of chili.
will give my niece her gift tomorrow when I get up. I told dad to call me in the morning when he gets up. so i’ll probably be up by 6am tomorrow morning.
Had a long day. I think I will take it easy tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well. It is nearing bed time where I live. Still waiting to hear back from disability. It would be nice to be able to pay some bills and get ebt. Its been over 4 months since I applied so hopefully I will hear back soon.
I have to go to the pharmacy as soon as my partner gets home to try to straighten out my meds. When we picked them up Saturday they gave me the wrong number of pills. Only like 30ish instead of 180. And they’re the steroids that increase my blood pressure so I can stand up without passing out a dozen times a day, so really need them to be able to function at all. I’m nervous they’re not going to give me the rest of them.
Good evening everyone!
I did my chores for the day. I cleaned out Jimmy’s litter box, cooked dinner, cleaned my dishes and counter, took out the trash.
Now it’s time to chillax.
Hope you all are going well.
@LED, I hope the pharmacy is able to straighten out your meds.
