So I interviewed with a trucking company today and I don’t think I’m responsible enough anymore to handle an 80,000 pound rig for 12-14 hours a day.
I’m having a hard time accepting I can not work a good paying job anymore.
It’s confusing because I look in the mirror and I’ve never looked better. Healthy/young/fit
Makes me really depressed actually

No I haven’t had any stomach issues, but my husband has.
I guess it impacts everyone differently.

That’s understandable. I miss working. I miss my coworkers too. Even some of my customers I miss.
My sister has been physically disabled her entire life. She’s never had a job. I don’t know how she coped. I worked for years.

For anyone who has been tested for Covid, what is the test like? I mean, i’ve heard horror stories of how painful the nasal swab can be. There is also a saliva test, I think. I don’t think I wanna get tested at all – if my folks get it, then I’ll just assume I have it as well.

The nasal swab hurt just a little bit, not too bad.

It wasn’t so bad… they changed the swab so it doesn’t go all the way up the nasal cavity anymore… I was afraid to do it because of that… it just irritates the nose a little… because they rub around it several times…

That’s good to hear it wasn’t too bad for you guys @anon54988740 @anon63380492. I guess I just don’t like the idea of some random nurse or whatever stuffing a swab up my nose till it practically reaches my brain, lol. But I suppose if I ever need one (hope I don’t!), then I’ll just have to get it done. I’m actually more anxious about driving to the clinic and waiting, than the actual test itself.
