Ugh! I saw my dad yesterday and it’s was awful! It started out well… For about 10 min then he went off the deep end! It was truly awful we ended being there an hour! Thank goodness I didn’t invite him to my wedding, he said he would have ruined the entire event! He said this in front of my husband! And his girlfriend doesn’t try and calm him down anymore and she looks really gount… And she isn’t walking well… My dad is worse than ever and it was very scary but I handled it well.

I’m so sorry to hear that meeting up with your dad went badly. It sounds like a difficult one. At least you know you tried, and well done for that. I hope you can take away that much from the experience. Do you feel going low contact from now would help?

@anon44466342 Well he wants us to go fishing with him but we aren’t going. I think low contact with him would probably be best he’s kinda dangerous.
That’s probably the right call to make. Genuinely gutted that this happened for you, as I read your other post about arranging to meet up.
